Happy Holidays!

You can tell it is holiday time...I'm running around like a mad-woman. But wait...this is a little different.

I'm currently at work, and Ryan is currently at home sleeping. I kept hounding him to take a sick day earlier this week because I could tell he was coming down with the same nasty cold I had. But no. He was steadfast in his pursuit to be a good employee and show up to the office.

Now he is regretting it.

I want to say "I told you so" but instead I will just ask him if he wants some hot herbal tea or another blanket. Or some soup.

We are heading to Missouri tonight via plane, which should be very interesting since Ryan's ears will be plugged. A guarantee that he will have ear pain and a headache while in the air. (Trust me on the ears being plugged - I was sick all week and my ears were plugged even when I was on the ground.)

That means one last trip to the pharmacy for the alkaseltzer cold medicine he likes. Oh, and more airborne tablets and chewable vitamins for me.

It's the holidays. I'm running around frantically cleaning, packing, and taking care of last minute errands. But soon we will be with family and friends sharing the holiday cheer! And germs. We'll try to spare them from the germs, even if they may loosely be considered a "gift that keeps on giving!" Yuck.

We hope you are healthy and well! Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to you and your family.

With love,
Liz & Ryan
