to appease the masses....

To keep readers (at least mildly) engaged I'm posting a few shots from our very lovely Christmas and New Year's Eve in Missouri with the Lincoln family. It reminds me that I need to finish that post about what happened LAST Christmas and who actually won the Survivor game between the Lincoln-Hawkins-Vlad Triad.

If you don't remember you can read about the game here:
http://thelincolns.blogspot.com/2006_01_01_archive.html

I promise to finish the story and tell you who won the game (not to mention who won the guessing contest) as soon as all my blasted finals are done.

I'm knee-deep in legal language regarding international adoption. Who knew there could be such controversy? There is.

But until I'm done writing loyal readers, you will have to settle for a few photos. I'll "see" you here again after Jan 15. And after I finish the story of the Survivor game, I'll have to tell you about Wahoo, a highly addictive game I learned while in town. Oh, and about another game we played and the very regal "Lady of Catan" who cleaned house in the game. So many games, and so little time to indulge my pen!

Uncle Bob with Tom-tom (like Tomcat)
Delicious Jello (I won't share the recipe. Sorry, )

Grandma and Ryan
Ella and Bo deciding who gets the present

Roger and Bo
And lastly, Happy New Year!

See you in a few weeks!
