THIS post is for Uncle Bob, especially.

Over the holiday, Uncle Bob (affectionately referred to as Unc) asked me what the definition of a "blog" was. So I did my best. And as good as my explanation was, and as respected and honored as "my word" is, I'm afraid that Unc wanted to hear it straight from ol' man Webster himself.

So here is the official definition, along with my MLA citation of the source I used.

Main Entry: blog
Part of Speech: n
Definition: an online diary; a personal chronological log of thoughts published on a Web page; also called [Weblog], [Web log]
Example: Typically updated daily, blogs often reflect the personality of the author.
Etymology: shortened form of Weblog
Usage: blog, blogged, blogging v, blogger n

Okay...now please do continue reading on and see our holiday photos on the post below!

LL - don't forget the "break-in" at the channing house. If you guys ever get worried again, I think you should call the HAAARvard Shuttle!! and see if they'll send someone over at least to yell at the intruders.
