We arrived (after a 17 hour day of travel) in California....and are happy to report that while the weather in Indiana was roughly 19 and snowing....we are experiencing nice 50+ degree weather and sunshine.

(this is sort of how we feel in California)I'm (Elizabeth/Liz) feeling much better and took my last antibiotic yesterday. What a relief to be healthy again!
Soon we're heading to the Bay Area for a few days of fun with some old friends and then will head back to the land of snow and cold wind.

Oh my gosh, I am out of it because I haven't read your blog in so long but the Nick Nolte and James Brown mug shots made me laugh out loud! I doubt your cute self could ever really resemble wither one!!! And, being Sam's mom and all, I do want to highlight the fact that Sam never was on antibiotics for his illness (though it was bad) suggesting he was sickened from a virus, and you were sickened from a bacteria. Sorry but you know I gotta side with my kid. :)
