Thursday - Infirmary Day 4 (Mar 6, 2008)

Today's Highlights:

-Liz met with the Matron today to draft a letter to the volunteer organizations that routinely offer services so that their gifts can be better used at the infirmary, and drafting a brief public service announcement.

- While Liz was in her meetings Ryan made balloon animals for residents/patients at the infirmary. Always a tremendous hit! Karen, one of the residents made sure that everybody got a balloon and helped to hand them out.

- At the school, we turned on all 11 computers to make sure they worked - or that the various hardware components worked (mouse, keyboard). It wasn't as difficulty or as tiring as we'd thought.

- We walked home the 4-5 km from the school which allowed us to run into at least 6 people we knew. The beauty of village life and not having a vehicle.

-Tomorrow we are taking a break and going to th May Pen Market with Winsome who is one of the cooks for the house-building teams.
